Mauri Capps brings over 35 years of experience in education, making her not only a seasoned Counselor and Dean of Students but also a skilled travel guide. Her extensive background working with people enhances her ability to connect with travelers and create memorable experiences.
Outside of her professional life, Mauri finds joy in simple pleasures like reading, photography, listening to music, taking leisurely walks or hikes, and savoring delicious meals. Recently, she has also discovered a newfound passion for watercolor painting, adding a creative dimension to her life.

About Connection Travel Club
The idea for this came from a former highschool teacher/mentor of mine, Ellie Leinaweaver, she started her Focus Travel Club, with her partnership with Kuoni Tumlare over 50 years ago! She has guided me with my process and I had a meeting with Kuoni Tumlare and they decided to trust Ellie’s recommendation and let me continue our partnership with my own club as she retired. Working with individuals is not something that they usually do!
Why Connection Travel?
We know that connection drives happiness. I want to create a club where people can connect… to themselves most of all, each other if desired AND to new places and people!
With the help of Kuoni Tumlare, we will have all of the incredible and specialized details covered. This ensures that travelers can relax and enjoy the journey without worrying about logistics. Once you arrive to the initial destination all will be provided for you; transportation, accommodations, meals*, and activities*. Your job is to relax and enjoy your journey without worrying about logistics.
